MOTIVATION TIPS!

Apologies for the lack of posts of late, as I have been really busy! This is a quick post on how to keep you motivated, especially with the dark mornings and evenings!

Choose something that you enjoy! This could be dancing, swimming, walking or whatever takes your fancy. You are more likely to stick to it and less likely to drop out. If you do become bored with it, don’t give up on exercise but try something different and brand new.

Train with a friend or find an ‘exercise buddy.’ This will help to motivate one another, especially if one of you is feeling lazy.

Get some help from a personal trainer and commit to sessions, to help you get kick started and motivate you to stay on track.

Set goals that are specific to you and are a stepping stone towards your ultimate goal, Start off small, as aiming too high may lead to disappointments, if you don’t achieve them.

Keep an exercise diary or download a fitness app to track your progress, as it will help you to aim and tick off your goals when you achieve them.
