D is NOT for diet!

I find the word ‘diet’ can be very intimidating for people as they then assume they will be deprived of everything! But in fact that’s not always the case. I prefer to use the term ‘healthy eating’ in that way, you are eating sensibly but also having the odd treat too, so you don’t feel too deprived. If a food is taken abruptly away from you, it will be hard to stop thinking about it and you want more of it than before!
